Q.1. How to Contact TradeData International?
You can Contact TradeData International from the TradeData Website, by sending us an email and fill out the FORM in Discuss with TradeData, we will respond to you as soon as we can. Alternately, we have offices in Australia and Indonesia, the address and contact details are listed in CONTACT US.
Q.2. How up to date is the trade information?
Different countries have different publication lags which vary from 2 to 8 weeks. Although there are some countries with longer publication lags. Please CONTACT US with the countries you are interested in and we will confirm the publication lag for you.
Q.3. Is Confidentiality in Trade Statistics a concern?
Several countries like Australia, Europe and others, for some products, restrict access to some statistics for reasons of confidentiality. If this is a concern, please CONTACT US and discuss with us.
Q.4. How long does it take to Prepare the Reports?
Our reports can usually be prepared within 24 hours from the time the order is confirmed.
Q.5. How much Historical Data is there with the Reports?
Most of our reports will have 5 years of historical data, unless otherwise stated. However in many cases, we have 15 to 20 years of data. If this is required, please CONTACT US
Q.6. Can I order an update for the report of the product that I want to monitor?
Yes, We update our data monthly; however we can also update reports monthly, quarterly, or half yearly.
Q.7. For which countries do you have Monthly Export-Import Information?

Q. 8. How about countries that do not have Monthly Export-Import Information, is it possible to estimate their monthly trade information?
Yes it is possible to estimate reports for those countries. As we have information for most major economies, it is possible in most cases to estimate over 90% of a country’s trade by analysing the information of their trading partners. Please CONTACT US for more information.
Q.9. Are all countries Export-Import Information similar?
No, Monthly Export-Import information varies from Country to Country. Some countries have quite unique information that is highly valuable for firms. We deliberately keep information at is most detailed level is assist clients in their research. Please CONTACT US for more information.
Q.10. What are the Reports based on?
Our Reports are based on the Harmonized System (HS) Codes. The Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (HS) is an internationally standardized system of names and numbers for classifying traded products developed and maintained by the World Customs Organization (WCO), an independent intergovernmental organization. Up to the 6 digit level the codes are the same for all countries. After that each country has their national coding system. Single Country reports are usually prepared at the most detailed (national) level, whereas Global Reports are usually prepared at the 6 digit (international) level with related national codes.
Q.11. I do not know, what is the Harmonized System (HS) Code for my product?
If you are not sure, what the HS Code for your product is, please CONTACT US with your product details. We will help you look up the related HS Code(s).
Q.12. How Can I make Payments? Customer can pay in 3 different ways as listed below:
- Through Our Website: we have an online payment options using your credit/debit card; or
- Bank Transfers: Customers can transfer monies directly into our bank account. The bank account details are listed on our invoice. or
- By Fax or Phone: Customers can fill in their invoice with their credit/debit card details and fax (or phone) it back to us.
- All International Bank Transfer Fees are to be borne by the customer; and
- All Credit Card payments will have a surcharge added to them. Details are listed on the Invoice.
Q.13. Will Good and Services Tax (GST) be charged with the reports?
GST is only applicable for Clients located in Australia and the rate is an additional 10%. Clients outside Australia do not need to pay any GST, as per Australian Law.
Q.14. I am a student, so can I get free reports?
We have some Free Sample Reports available on the Internet site. Any other reports are prepared on normal commercial (fee for service) basis. For further information please click here to email us
